Fly or take the train into Jammu and finish in Amritsar, or start in Amritsar and end at Jammu.

In Katra, the darshan day follows the familiar path from Banganga past Charan Paduka and Ardhkuwari to the holy Bhawan, roughly 12–13 km on foot. Ponies and palkis are available on the route. If walking is hard, ask us about adding helicopter seats from Katra to Sanjichhat.

In Amritsar we suggest seeing the Golden Temple twice: once in the evening when the gold glows under lights, and again early the next morning. Jallianwala Bagh is next door, and the Wagah Border ceremony is about 30 km away for the sunset Beating Retreat.

Our 4 night version adds a second night in Amritsar, so you can sit in the parikrama, enjoy the langar and shop in the old bazaars without watching the clock. 3 Night 4 Days Itinerary (Jammu start)

Starting from Amritsar? We simply run the same plan in reverse.

Day 1 – Jammu to KatraOur driver meets you at Jammu Airport or station for the drive of about 50 km to Katra, usually around 2 hours. Check in and rest. Overnight in Katra.
Day 2 – Vaishno Devi darshanSet out early from Banganga for the climb to the holy Bhawan, on foot or by pony. After darshan, visit Bhairon Nath temple by ropeway if you wish and return to Katra. Overnight in Katra.
Day 3 – Katra to AmritsarDrive about 250 km to Amritsar. Visit the Golden Temple in the evening, or go to Wagah Border for the Beating Retreat. Overnight in Amritsar.
Day 4 – Amritsar and departureEarly visit to the Golden Temple and Jallianwala Bagh, plus Durgiana Temple if time allows. Drop at Amritsar airport or station, or back to Jammu if your return is from there. The 4 night tour adds a full day here.
