Indore to Mata Vaishno Devi
From Indore, the yatra is a proper journey north, so planning matters. Trains from Indore towards Jammu and Katra take a long day and a night or more, and flights to Jammu usually connect through Delhi. Our package removes the guesswork: we suggest the best option for your dates and book it.
Once you reach Jammu or Katra, our AC car takes over. You stay two nights in Katra with breakfast and dinner, so you can trek on one day and rest on the other. Darshan can be on foot, by pony, by palki, or with the helicopter to Sanjichhat.
Many Indore families like to combine the yatra with the cool hills of Patnitop. Our extended plan adds a day there before you head home.

Our most popular plan from Indore: three days with the helicopter. The train plan uses the same Katra days with travel added at both ends.
- Day 1 · Indore to KatraEarly flight from Indore to Jammu, usually via Delhi. Our driver meets you at Jammu Airport for the drive of about 50 km to Katra. Check in, collect your Yatra RFID card and enjoy the evening market. Dinner and overnight.
- Day 2 · Darshan by helicopterMorning transfer to the Katra helipad and a short flight to Sanjichhat. Walk about 3 km to the Bhawan for darshan, visit Bhairon Nath temple, and fly back to Katra. Dinner at the hotel.
- Day 3 · Back to IndoreBreakfast, some shopping for prasad and dry fruits, then the drive to Jammu Airport for your flight home.

How much is the Vaishno Devi package from Indore?

Is there a direct flight from Indore to Jammu?
Most flights connect via Delhi. We check the best option for your dates.
How long does the train take?
Usually more than a day each way, depending on the train. That is why the train plan takes about five to six days in total.
Can we add Patnitop?
Yes. Our 3-night plan adds a day in Patnitop, a hill resort a few hours from Katra.
Do you include the helicopter in every plan?
Only in the flight plans. In the train plan, it can be added for ₹4,640 per person (return) if seats are free.
