Every family plans this yatra differently. Some want to reach Katra, finish darshan and be home in two days. Others are travelling with grandparents and need the helicopter, a comfortable hotel and an unhurried pace. Many like to add a second destination once they have come all the way to Jammu. This page brings all our package types together so you can pick the one that suits you.

Our shortest plans are built around Katra. You arrive at Jammu Airport or Katra railway station, our car takes you to the hotel, and you set out on the 12–13 km path via Banganga, Charan Paduka and Ardhkuwari, or ride a pony, palki or battery car for part of the way. The 1 night 2 days package is the quickest; two and three night plans give you a rest day and local sightseeing.

If walking is difficult, a helicopter package takes you from Katra to Sanjichhat in about six minutes, leaving roughly 3 km to the Bhawan. These plans start at ₹7,500 per person with hotel and car included. See all of them on our helicopter package page.

Longer combination tours pair Mata's darshan with the Golden Temple and Wagah Border in Amritsar, the valleys of Kashmir, the pine forests of Patnitop, the cave shrine of Shiv Khori, or the high passes of Ladakh. Every package uses a private AC car, and groups travelling together get better rates.

Trek Package or Helicopter Package?

Trek packages cost less and suit fit travellers who enjoy the walk and the atmosphere of the path. Helicopter packages cost more but save most of the climb, which matters for elders, small children and anyone short on time. Helicopter seats are limited and new dates open on the 1st of every month, so book those early.

How Long Should You Plan For?

One night is enough for darshan alone if you are fit. Two nights let you rest after the climb and visit Bhairon Nath temple by ropeway. Three nights or more make sense once you add Jammu sightseeing or a second destination such as Amritsar or Patnitop.
