Overview
Pune to the Trikuta Hills, Without the Hassle
Pune is far from Jammu, and planning the yatra from here used to mean long train journeys and a full day of climbing. Our Pune helicopter package keeps the devotion and drops the strain: you fly to Jammu, stay in Katra and reach the Bhawan by helicopter and a short walk.
Flights from Pune to Jammu generally connect through Delhi or sometimes Mumbai, so it helps to start early in the day. Our driver tracks your arrival at Jammu Airport and drives you about 50 km to Katra, where your hotel room is ready.
On darshan day the helicopter takes about six minutes from the Katra helipad to Sanjichhat. From there, the Bhawan is about 3 km away, a walk of around 45 minutes, and ponies are available. With a same-day return seat, you are back in Katra the same evening.
For families who enjoy the train, there are long-distance trains from Pune heading north towards Jammu, usually taking a day and a half or more. We combine those tickets with our land package and keep a rest day before darshan.
Retired Parents Travelling Alone?

- Day 1 · Pune to Jammu, on to KatraFly from Pune to Jammu with one connection. Our driver meets you at Jammu Airport and drives you to Katra. Check in and complete Yatra RFID registration.
- Day 2 · Helicopter darshanAfter breakfast, report at Counter No. 3 at the Katra helipad. Fly to Sanjichhat, continue to the Bhawan on foot or by pony, and fly back after darshan.
- Day 3 · Katra at leisureRest, or visit Bhairon Nath with our help (ropeway extra). The Katra market is good for dry fruits, shawls and prasad.
