Chandigarh to Vaishno Devi by Road
For families in Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula, Vaishno Devi is close enough for an unhurried road trip. The drive through Punjab towards Pathankot and Jammu usually takes around 7 to 9 hours, so you can leave after breakfast and still reach Katra in time for an evening stroll.
Our package gives you a private AC car with the same driver for all three days, two nights in a Katra hotel with breakfast and dinner, and help with the Yatra RFID card. On darshan day you choose how to climb: on foot, by pony, by palki, or by helicopter to Sanjichhat.
Because the drive is shorter than from Delhi, many Tricity families also add a day for Shiv Khori or Patnitop. Ask us and we will build it into your plan.

- Day 1 · Chandigarh to KatraMorning pick-up from your home in the Tricity. Drive via Punjab with breakfast and lunch on the highway. Reach Katra by late afternoon, check in, collect your Yatra RFID card and enjoy the evening market. Dinner and overnight.
- Day 2 · Darshan dayEarly start from Banganga on foot, by pony or palki, passing Charan Paduka and Ardhkuwari on the way to the Bhawan. Helicopter guests fly to Sanjichhat and walk about 3 km. Take the ropeway to Bhairon Nath temple if you can. Back to the hotel for dinner.
