From Gurugram to the Bhawan in a Long Weekend
Working families in Gurugram rarely have a week to spare, and the helicopter is what makes a weekend yatra realistic. The flight from Katra to Sanjichhat replaces most of the 12–13 km climb, so a single day is enough for darshan.
You have two good ways to reach Jammu and Katra. Delhi’s airport is a short drive from most of Gurugram, and the flight to Jammu usually takes around an hour and a half. Trains also run from Delhi stations to Jammu and to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra station, including overnight services that save a hotel night.
