The Fastest Way from Mumbai to Mata's Darbar
For working professionals and busy families in Mumbai, the flight package is the most time-saving way to do the Vaishno Devi yatra. You fly to Jammu, our car brings you about 50 km to Katra, and the helicopter to Sanjichhat cuts the long trek down to a walk of roughly 3 km to the Bhawan.
Our quickest plan is one night and two days: land in Jammu, do darshan with the helicopter the same day if flight timings and seats allow, sleep in Katra and fly home the next day. It needs an early arrival in Jammu and a confirmed helicopter seat, so we plan it carefully with you.
If you prefer a calmer pace, the two night, three day plan gives you a full day for darshan and a rest day. Families who want a short holiday too can add two nights in Patnitop with our Vaishno Devi with Patnitop package.
Is the Air Package Worth the Extra Cost?
Compared with the train package from Mumbai, flying costs more but saves three to four days of travel. For elders, or anyone with only a long weekend, it is usually the better choice.
