Overview
The Nau Devi Circuit, Planned Day by Day
The Nau Devi yatra is one of North India's most loved pilgrim circuits. Families often travel it after a wish is fulfilled, or before a new beginning, visiting the Mother at shrine after shrine. The circuit commonly includes Vaishno Devi, Jwala Ji, Kangra (Brajeshwari) Devi, Chamunda Devi, Chintpurni, Naina Devi and Mansa Devi, along with smaller temples nearby.
Our plan starts in Delhi and moves north at a steady pace: Mansa Devi near Chandigarh, Naina Devi and Chintpurni, the Kangra valley shrines including Jwala Ji, where natural flames burn in the sanctum, then Chamunda Devi near Dharamshala. From there you cross to Katra for the climb to Mata Vaishno Devi.
The last stop is Amritsar, with an evening at the Wagah border ceremony and a visit to the Golden Temple and Jallianwala Bagh before you head home.
One AC vehicle and driver stay with you for all eight days, and every night is in a hotel so you rest well between temple visits.

- Day 1 · Delhi to ChandigarhPick-up in Delhi and drive about 5–6 hours to Chandigarh. Darshan at Mata Mansa Devi in Panchkula, then the Rock Garden and Sukhna Lake. Night in Chandigarh.
- Day 2 · Naina Devi and ChintpurniDrive to Naina Devi in Bilaspur district; a ropeway is usually available to the hilltop temple. Continue to Mata Chintpurni for darshan. Night in the Kangra area.
- Day 3 · Kangra valley shrinesVisit Jwala Ji with its ever-burning flames, Kangra's Brajeshwari Devi, and Maa Bagalamukhi temple. Night in Kangra.
- Day 4 · Chamunda Devi and DharamshalaDarshan at Chamunda Devi, then a gentle afternoon in Dharamshala and McLeod Ganj, including Bhagsunag temple. Night in Dharamshala.
- Day 5 · Dharamshala to KatraDrive about 250 km, around 6 hours, via the Jammu region to Katra. Register for your Yatra RFID card. Night in Katra.
- Day 6 · Mata Vaishno DeviClimb from Banganga to the Bhawan on foot, by pony or palki, or by helicopter if seats are booked. Return to Katra for the night.
- Day 7 · Katra to AmritsarDrive about 6 hours to Amritsar, reaching in time for the Beating Retreat ceremony at Wagah border. Night in Amritsar.
- Day 8 · Golden Temple and departureEarly visit to Sri Harmandir Sahib and Jallianwala Bagh, then drop at Amritsar airport or railway station.
