Overview
From Ahmedabad to the Darbar of Mata Rani
Gujarati families have been making the journey to Vaishno Devi for generations, often as a big group of relatives or neighbours. Our Ahmedabad package is designed for that style of travel: tickets booked together, rooms close to each other, and a darshan day that nobody has to rush.
By train, the journey from Ahmedabad to Jammu Tawi or Katra is long, usually well over a day, so the train plan runs to about six days in total. By air, you fly to Jammu, usually with a connection, and finish the whole yatra in three days with the helicopter included.
Katra is a vegetarian pilgrim town with plenty of simple, home-style food, which makes it easy for Jain and Swaminarayan families to eat comfortably. Let us know your food needs and we will tell the hotel in advance.
