Trek Package
2 Nights / 3 Days
The balanced choice for families: one day to arrive, one full day for Mata's darshan, and a calm morning to rest before you head home.
From ₹5,500 per person, by trek
Overview
The climb to the Bhawan and back is long, and most people feel it in their legs the next morning. A second night in Katra means nobody has to rush to a train straight after darshan. It is the plan we suggest most often to families travelling with parents or young children.
On the middle day you set out from Banganga and follow the path past Charan Paduka and Ardhkuwari, where many pilgrims stop at Garbh Joon. Ponies, palkis and battery cars can help on parts of the route. After darshan, the ropeway to Bhairon Nath temple completes the yatra for those who wish to go.
Prefer to fly? The same three days can be done with the helicopter from Katra to Sanjichhat. That version costs ₹8,500 per person and is explained on our 2 night helicopter package page.
Day 3 is relaxed. Pick up prasad, dry fruits and shawls in the Katra market, or ask us to stop at a nearby temple on the way to Jammu. If you would like a full day of sightseeing as well, look at the 3 night 4 days package.
