Vaishno Devi Yatra for Kochi and Kerala Families
For pilgrims from Kochi and the rest of Kerala, flying is by far the most practical way to reach Mata Vaishno Devi. The train journey runs to more than two days each way, so most families take a flight to Jammu, usually with one stop at Delhi.
Once you land at Jammu Airport, our driver takes you about 50 km to Katra. Your hotel, car and yatra plan are ready, so you can rest after the long travel day and start fresh the next morning.
Our flight package from Kochi includes return flights to Jammu, a same-day return helicopter between Katra and Sanjichhat, two nights in Katra with breakfast and dinner, and an AC car. Prefer to walk? Book only the Katra land package and your own flights.
Prepare for the Cold
Coming from Kerala's warm, humid weather, many pilgrims are surprised by the hills. From November to February the nights at the Bhawan can be near freezing, and even in spring the early mornings are cold. Pack a proper jacket, woollen cap, socks and gloves, and keep a raincoat for the monsoon months.

Kochi Flight Package Itinerary
A three-day plan built around one long travel day each way.
- Day 1 – Kochi to KatraTake an early flight from Kochi, usually connecting via Delhi, to Jammu. Our driver meets you at the airport and drives you to Katra. Check in, have dinner and rest.
- Day 2 – Helicopter and DarshanAfter an early breakfast, head to the Katra helipad. Fly to Sanjichhat in about six minutes and walk roughly 3 km to the Bhawan for darshan. Visit Bhairon Nath temple if time allows, fly back to Katra and rest.
- Day 3 – Return to KochiBreakfast and a little shopping in Katra, then the drive to Jammu Airport for your flight home.
