Overview
Fly for Darshan, Unwind in the Dhauladhar Hills
This package pairs the quickest way to reach Mata's Bhawan with one of Himachal's most peaceful hill towns. On day two you fly from Katra to Sanjichhat in about 6 minutes, walk roughly 3 km to the Bhawan, and return to Katra the same day.
Day three is a long but scenic drive of about 240 km into the Kangra valley. Dharamshala and upper McLeod Ganj sit against the Dhauladhar range, with Tibetan monasteries, the Bhagsu waterfall, Naddi viewpoint and busy little markets full of shawls and handicrafts.
The trip ends at Pathankot or Chakki Bank railway station, which saves you the drive back to Jammu. If you are flying home, we can drop you at Jammu or a nearby airport instead.
The helicopter is what sets this plan apart from our Dharamshala package by road, which keeps the traditional climb.

Darshan first, then the hills.
- Day 1 · Jammu to KatraPick-up from Jammu airport or railway station and drive to Katra. Check in and collect your Yatra RFID card.
- Day 2 · Helicopter darshanEarly breakfast, then fly from the Katra helipad to Sanjichhat. Walk about 3 km to the Bhawan for darshan and return to Katra by helicopter or on foot. Night in Katra.
- Day 3 · Katra to DharamshalaDrive about 240 km, usually around 6 hours, to Dharamshala. Check in and rest. Night in Dharamshala or McLeod Ganj.
- Day 4 · Dharamshala sightseeingVisit the Tibetan monastery area of McLeod Ganj, Bhagsu waterfall and Dal Lake. In the evening drive up to Naddi for sunset views, then shop in the Tibetan market.
