Vaishno Devi Yatra from Visakhapatnam
Devotees of Simhachalam and Kanaka Mahalakshmi in Vizag often dream of visiting Mata Vaishno Devi too. It is one of the longer journeys to Jammu, roughly 2,300 km, so choosing between train and flight shapes the whole trip.
By rail, the journey is about two days each way, usually with a change at Delhi or on a long-distance train toward Jammu Tawi. By air, flights from Visakhapatnam to Jammu normally connect via Delhi or Hyderabad, and the yatra fits into three days.

Coastal Climate to Mountain Weather
Vizag stays mild and humid, but Katra and the Bhawan are much colder from November to February. Carry a thick jacket and woollens, and a raincoat for July and August.

- Day 1 – Vizag to KatraFly from Visakhapatnam to Jammu via a connecting city. Our driver meets you at Jammu Airport for the drive to Katra. Check in and rest.
- Day 2 – DarshanFly from the Katra helipad to Sanjichhat, walk about 3 km to the Bhawan for darshan, and visit Bhairon Nath if time allows. Fly back to Katra in the afternoon.
